Answerback is a story-driven puzzle game made to look like an old terminal. A transmission comes in at 03:14 and you decode it by hand, turning cipher dials and keeping notes, over three acts, more than fifty puzzles and seven endings.
You can play it in English or Turkish. You don’t make an account and there’s no server behind it, so your saves and puzzle notes never leave the phone.
The name comes from the telex machine’s answerback, the automatic reply a terminal sends when it’s asked who are you?
